Great location with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions. Comfortable and spacious rooms with balconies offering stunning mountain views. Friendly and helpful staff providing excellent service.
Outdated and rustic room decor, lacking modern amenities. Inadequate bathroom facilities, with challenging showers and dated fixtures.

The staff are kind and helpful. The is tidy and clean, though not very modern. I stayed in a single room, which was very small, but comfortable enough for me. The price was for half board. Both the breakfast and dinner were carefully prepared and of great flavor. The hotel locates by the quiet mountain, close to an outlook. However it's 20 minutes walk from the train station, and the paths are certainly not easy for people with luggages. So call the hotel, the staff will pick you up or drop you at the train station. Last but not least, the view is marvellous. I will come back.

The location of Hotel Friedenshohe was ideal, within walking distance of the city center but far enough away to avoid traffic and night life noise. At the edge of town, the hotel has a gorgeous view of the Alps and green meadows.

My husband and I spend one night in this hotel. The locaTion is perfect to visit Schloss Linderholf and the dinner served as half board is very good. The breakfast is simple also very good and you can sit in front of the mountains, the view is amazing. The hotel staff are excelent.
The mattress is too old and very very soft. The room is very clear as all hotel rooms that we slept on Germany and Austria in the last two months. We didin't sleep well.

The owner and the staff were warm, friendly and instantly likeable. The room and bath were spacious and spotlessly clean. A very nice breakfast and fantastic evening meal were served each day and were included in the reasonable rate. You leave there feeling like you received full value for every dollar or Euro spent.
Everything was just great.

The location of the hotel is ideal, as it is close to many attractions and places we wanted to visit. It is conveniently situated near the start of downtown, making it easy to explore the charming town. the hotel owner was always willing to drive us into town or pick us up, ensuring we had a hassle-free experience. the staff spoke excellent English, which made communication effortless.
The rooms in this old establishment could use some updating, as they were described as out of date and worn by previous guests.

The service is very good, the owner is so kind to drove us to bahnhof in the morning. The dinner which included in the room price is excellent. There ' s free internet at the reception room.
Everything is good, no complaint, but I would like to give more information for customers who go there by public transportation that the nearest bus stop is Eugen-Papst-Str. (About 8-10 minutes by foot to the hotel)

Great food, Great staff, the waitress 'Sabina' really helped by speaking very good english, Herr Schmid was a fantastic host and overall I would recommend the hotel to anyone who would enjoy fantastic views of a fantastic area of Gremany.
The only negative I can say is that the bathroom in our room was very odd shaped and for anyone above 175cm, it would be too small.

The Staff were great and very friendly, could not do enough for you. Food was excellent and lots of it. Rooms were clean and plenty of space. I would cetainly recommend this hotel and if I go to the location again. I would certainly stay there. One thing to note is that there is no evening meal on a Thursday. But this just gave us the chance to walk into town where there are plenty of restaurants.

This is our second time in the hotel Friedenshoehe and not the last one. The hotel is in very quiet place, very near to the castles and the meals are very tasty. Simplicity and kindness of Mr Schmitt will always follow us. Thank you again for the wondefull time we spend in hotel Friedenshoehe and in the village of Oberammergau.
